Contributions to the taxonomy, biogeography, ecology and pathogens of parasites (Diptera, Acari) of Old World bats

The dissertation thesis presents contributions solving several faunistic, biogeographical, taxonomic, and phylogenetic problems of selected groups of bat parasites together with surveys of potential pathogens in some representatives of these parasitic groups linked to the bats of the Old World. In the first part of the thesis, the taxonomy of prostigmata mites - chiggers (Trombiculidae) - coming from Eurasia and Africa is elaborated. Results of a detailed morphological and morphometric study are the descriptions of five new taxa belonging to four genera: Chiroptella, Grandjeana, Rudnicula, and Trombicula. At the same time, the results revise the differentiation within the group Trombicula sensu stricto, summarize the findings of species of individual genera and correct the inclusions of the originally described species within individual genera, with the final output of creating identification keys to the genera. The first sketch of the results of the study of the relations between chiggers and bats is included in this section, representing the description of the specific links among individual segments of both groups. The Building on Obilní trh

The bachelor thesis focuses on the design of a modern and transparent office building in Brno on the Grain Market. Due to the proximity of the community garden, Špilberk and the incompleteness of the building of the environmental department in Brno, the Institute for the Environment was chosen. The building provides also catering and accommodation for guest collaborators, along with areas for office promotion, which include a lecture hall and a gallery. The shape of the building closes the southern part of the Grain Market and thanks to the vertical garden that forms the facade contributes to improving the microclimate.

This bachelor thesis concerns a design of two floors family residence located in Zlín, Chlum on a parcel number 428/11 in the cadaster region of Zlín. The design if the residence includes the architectural, structural and technical solution according the investor’s requirements. The object is designed as timber frame structure with flat extensive green roof. The goal of the design was to create a residence with very low ecological impact during the construction process and with minimal ecological impact during its lifetime usage.

The thesis deals with constitution and characteristic properties of LPG, survey and description of various LPG components, LPG conversion, the use of a specific LPG system, according to engine technological level, ecologic aspects and LPG influence on engine components wear. The conclusion contain important knowledge and very own expirience in matter of LPG conversion and its economic features.

The analytical work I examine the origin and development of the new company, global ecological changes, code of ethics and the position of art in this system. I apply the theoretical platform for the visual identity of a fictitious company.
